A plug gauge is a combined set of go gauge and no-go gauge for inspecting internal threads. As a widely used measuring tool in the construction industry, it quickly verifies whether the internal thread dimensions of rebar couplers fall within tolerance ranges. The external threads and outer diameters of Cheeron plug gauges are customized to limit dimensions.

Go/no-go plug gauges are mainly used to inspect the internal threads or inner bore diameters of rebar couplers.
Double-ended plug gauges with integrated handles combine the go end and no-go end as one piece. The go end features discontinuous thread profiles, while the no-go end has full thread profiles.
Featuring simple operation and high efficiency, they are suitable for mass inspection on production lines and can rapidly judge pass or fail status.
Screw the go end and no-go end of the plug gauge into the rebar coupler separately.

1. Go gauge passes smoothly, no-go gauge stops → Thread is qualified
2. Go gauge passes smoothly, no-go gauge cannot stop → Major diameter meets requirements, pitch diameter exceeds upper limit; pitch diameter needs to be reduced
3. Go gauge fails to pass, no-go gauge stops → Major diameter fails to meet requirements, pitch diameter meets requirements; major diameter needs to be enlarged

Weldable threaded rebar couplers are adopted in steel structures to connect steel beams, steel columns and reinforcing bars.
Threaded fastening connections are commonly applied in concrete anchorage, such as headed reinforcement anchors.
Verify whether the internal threads of rebar couplers for threaded mechanical splicing comply with relevant standards.
